Hello all my lovely onepreppygirl fans!! I finally did it! I am Stella & Dot's newest independent stylist :) I am so excited that I don't even want to sleep, I want to just sit by the door and wait for the UPS guy to send me all my new jewelry and starter kit for my first business!!

So all of you lovelies should go to http://www.stelladot.com/sites/Sjp and look at all the gorgeous jewelry that Stella & Dot (which I for now on will abbreviate S&D) has on my personal site. Here are some of my favorites and are on my wish list!!

One Shopping Girl

So this weekend I went down and visited my mom in PA and checked out Temple Dental School. It was kinda an excuse to just see my mom and do a little shopping in King of Prussia, the greatest mall in the East!!

I've been there a couple times, and since I'm starting up my S&D jewelry company I didn't really want to spend a ton of money (although I saw SO MUCH that I wanted to get)!

I had some fun with my mom, and went into Kate Spade and Lilly Pulitzer, which I don't have in my mall at home. Saw some adorable flats in Kate spade that I'm DYING for, and adorable spring dresses in Lilly. Even though I didn't anything (seriously Sara?!) I had a lot of fun with my mom!

On our way back home we hit Vegan Treats, a delicious vegan/gluten free bakery and I nailed a cookies and creme donut! Now snuggling with my pup in the car, almost back home for the holiday weekend!

One Tired Girl

Back to reality today!!

So I have decided that I am going to be Stella and Dot's newest stylist!! I am very excited and happy to say that I will be up and running very soon. I am keeping my love for fashion as close to my heart as I can get, while still reaching my goal of becoming a dentist. Yes, those two things have nothing in common, besides that I love both!!

So soon enough you will see many pictures of my latest jewelry pieces from the Stella and Dot collection.

Here is my ootd, it was so nice out I hardly had to wear a jacket!! Too bad it's NY and tomorrow it's gunna be winter again. But that means I can wear my hunter boots tomorrow :) there is always a positive!!

Sleep tight!

One Sad Girl

Vacations go by so fast!! I had such a great time in Denver. Not looking forward to facing reality tomorrow when I go back to school and work.

But that's good news for you!! That means I'm going back to blogging about things other than my vacation. More good news, the weather looks like it's starting to warm up! So I'm shedding thicker layers for some thinner ones.

That's really all I have for you tonight...but as always I'll leave you with a pic! This is my ootd from yesterday :)

P. S. My dog Stella is also happier about the warmer weather, she loves laying in the sun!

One Recovering Girl

Hello all!!

Sorry I missed yesterday, I took the red eye back home from Colorado and was pooped! SO Thursday was my last day in CO. So sad!! I loved my trip and had so much fun. We left Vail at around 11 and made our way back to Denver by driving through Frisco and Breckenridge. We walked around Breckenridge, which is a really cute town! We even stopped in Aurora and checked out the Dental School there (maybe I'll go there?!).

We had dinner and our last activity was Canvas and Cocktails! This was so much fun! You follow along with an instructor and paint a picture. I painted Starry Denver (inspired by Starry Night by  Van Gogh!). I had so much fun, and was surprisingly impressed with my painting! It will be shipped to my apartment and proudly hung in my living room :)

It was sad leaving, I had so much fun and made so many memories and had a lot of good laughs! I hope you all enjoyed my pictures. Back to my normal ootd/fashion blog from now on :)

One Skiing Girl

Words can't even describe my day today.

If you are an avid skier, or just like to ski, at some point in your life you absolutely need to ski Vail. It is just breathtaking. Besides all of the incredible and amazing scenery around every bend, the trails and conditions are perfect!! I was just not prepared for this amazing mountain. It really isn't a mountain though, it is more like 5 normal ski mountains pushed together and then added perfect blue skies, groomed trails, and the landscape of the Rockies, and you got yourself Vail!

We got on the first lift at 8:30 and skied until 3, which is longer than I normally ski at the mountain I usually ski at! I thought that I would be done around lunch time, but I didn't even want to stop for lunch. The conditions were perfect and I wanted to keep going, but I was starving and French fries at the lodge sounded really good. I think the adrenaline and the fact that I only had one day at the mountain really made me keep going (plus the perfect trails I have already mentioned)!

Before we hit lunch I went to the back bowls and hit some awesome powder!! It was so thick that I could hardly ski and my legs were burning! But I kept going and I was so glad that I did it! I also went over some crazy moguls on the back bowl, but I am getting better at them. So after the back bowls and lunch we hit my favorite cloud nine run, then made our way back to the resort. Since we were in the Blue Sky Basin and our resort was on the other side/complete opposite side of the mountain we decided to make our way back. Good thing we did when head back we did, because it took over an hour to make it back! It was a long tiring ski day but it was my favorite day of the trip and by far the best ski day I have EVER had.

After we dropped off our ski equipment, we put our bathing suits on and jumped in the pool/hot tub, it was much needed!! After relaxing our muscles we put on our robes and sat by the fire pit and relaxed. It was the perfect end to the perfect day :) We had dinner in Vail and came back and hopped right in bed! I am so tired and ready for a good nights sleep. Enjoy all the photos!!

Sara Jo

P.S. Vail tracks how many vertical feet you go throughout the day by scanning your pass (pretty cool). I tracked 20,609 feet!!

One Hot Girl

Another crazy fun day here in CO :)

So we started in Denver and took a quick trip to the Red Rocks and saw the Ampitheather, which was really cool! We walked up and down the stairs, and let me tell you I was really out of breath!

Then we headed west on I-70 towards the Rockies! I honestly hate car rides, but this one flew by. You can't even blink otherwise you would miss some beautiful piece of scenery. The whole trip took less than 2 hours and we made it to beautiful Vail!

We checked into the resort and first thing was first, got our ski rentals! We sent our helmets and ski clothes ahead so that we wouldn't have to pack them, which was convenient. Then we walked around the resort then made our way to Vail Village. To get a good perspective on how big the mountain is, it is 1.5 miles from our resort to the main gondola. BUT there is a chair lift from our resort which you can take to make your way over to central Vail. So the whole mountain spans over 2 miles across and has like almost 100 chair lifts. Good thing that I have a CO native coming skiing with me to help me around the trails.

After being completely amazed by the enormous size of the mountain, and walking around Vail Village (while getting a very touristy Vail sweatshirt) we headed back to the resort and got ready for dinner, which was a really nice Italian dinner in Vail. We came back to the resort, put our batting suits on, grabbed a bottle of wine and ran to the hot tub/pool with our oversized bath robes on!! It was hysterical and amazing. The hot tub had a fire pit right next to it, so we sipped wine and watched the stars from the hot tub! It was a memory I'll never forget :)

Now I'm ready for a day of skiing tomorrow! Off to bed early. Good night all!

One Adventurous Girl

Wow! What a trip I've had so far.

Today is Day 2, but it feels like I've been here forever! Which I am totally okay with. So this morning we drove out to Colorado Springs and saw the Garden of the Gods. It is a park in a town outside of Denver that has enormous red rock structures that are just beautiful. They just pop right out of the brown and green Rocky Mountains, and are beautiful!!

Of course I brought the overcast and snow with me from New York, so it was chilly and snowy in the mountains! But still, it was GREAT and so cool to see the natural landscapes of Colorado.

Tomorrow we are headed to Red Rocks in the sunshine, so I will have even more pictures to share with you tomorrow! After Red Rocks we are headed west towards Vail for some great powder skiing. Can't wait to share with you!!

One Travelin' Girl

Well I've been in Denver for 24 hours and I'm in love. Seriously though, it is beautiful here!! Every place I've eaten at is amazing, have had the wonderful company of my boyfriend and his family (which have included me so very graciously into their family), and just been happy in general!

Today we toured downtown Denver and had brunch at Root Down, this old automobile garage turned into a vegan/gf friendly restaurant. My vegan boyfriend was incredibly happy with the options for him. If you live in Denver, absolutely go there!!

Then we spent time sitting on the balcony, enjoying the view of the Rockies, and catching up! I literally could sit and stare at those mountains all day. They are incredible.

Then we finished off the wonderful day with dinner at True Food, and had another amazing 3 course meal during Denver's Restaurant Week, which lucky for us is 3 weeks and we get to try amazing food for half the cost.

Needless to say after getting 5 hours of sleep on a blow up air mattress that ended with me waking up on the floor, I'm tired!! Tomorrow we are going to the Red Rocks and Garden of the Gods. More to come!!

Sweet dreams,
Sara Jo

One Tired Girl

Hello all!

So sorry I've been MIA this week. It was midterm week and I had 4 exams and a research project proposal due...needless to say I was a little bit scatterbrained (well, okay a lot) ! I have finally landed in Denver, CO for my spring break :) so this week you will get tired of seeing all my beautiful pictures of the mountains!

After 10 hours of traveling I'm tired! More to come this week.
